The disappearance of Maria Loida Tice, a 60-year-old Filipina hiker from San Gabriel, California, has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the hiking community. On February 13, 2021, Maria embarked on a challenging hike up the Iron Mountain Trail in the San Gabriel Mountains and was never seen again. Maria joined a Meetup group for a hike on the Iron Mountain Trail, renowned for its grueling ascent and rugged terrain.
