On the evening of April 22, 2020, 42-year-old Krista Daniel was captured on surveillance footage leaving Olar’s Party Store around 7:30 p.m. She was seen crossing the westbound lanes of 8 Mile Road in Detroit, heading towards her home on Hawthorne Street. This was the last confirmed sighting of Krista.
Krista's disappearance came just a month after the death of her husband, leaving her to care for their five children, aged between 2 and 17. Described by her family as compassionate and intelligent, Krista was navigating the challenges of single motherhood.
Authorities believe Krista may have been assaulted, possibly shot, and placed in the trunk of a car near 8 Mile Road and Hawthorne Street. Despite these leads, no arrests have been made, and her body has not been recovered.
Krista's mother, Teri Daniel, has been vocal in seeking justice for her daughter. She believes that fear within the community has prevented witnesses from coming forward. Teri has organized search parties and continues to urge anyone with information to speak up. ...Read More
