A Mother’s Sudden Disappearance

On October 1, 2013, 30-year-old Esthela Rios-Gonzalez left her home in Toppenish, Washington, and was never seen again. A devoted mother of three, Esthela had plans to meet her ex-boyfriend, German Garcia, at Legends Casino in Yakima County. Surveillance footage confirmed that the two departed the casino together around 1:00 AM on October 2, with Esthela as a passenger in her own gray 2002 Chevrolet Venture van.  

A Troubling Relationship History

Family members reported Esthela missing later that day, expressing immediate concern due to Garcia's history of violence and abuse towards her. Despite Garcia initially denying any recent contact with Esthela, the casino footage contradicted his claim.
