On April 1, 2015, 44-year-old Wynn Kaili Lindsey was last seen at his residence in the Makiki neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii, around 5:00 p.m. The following morning, at approximately 4:00 a.m., his 1999 Toyota Corolla was discovered abandoned in the 4000 block of Tantalus Drive, near the Puu Ohia Trail. The discovery of Lindsey's car prompted an immediate search of the surrounding area. Authorities, including three sets of police dogs, scoured the Puu Ohia Trail and its vicinity but found no trace of Lindsey.
