Travon Major, 26, male, was found just before dawn on October 21, 2025, along the 1100 block of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert around 3:30 a.m. discovered him with a gunshot wound; he did not survive at the scene. The killing unfolded in the quiet hours when traffic was thin and storefronts were dark, leaving a stark strip of flashing lights and police tape where the morning should have been ordinary.
