On the night of July 5, 1993, 17-year-old Aron Holmes Silverman attended a party at a friend's residence in Norfolk, Virginia. Known for his blond hair and blue eyes, Aron was last seen leaving the gathering with a woman described as a freelance go-go dancer from Newport News.
Aron had a history of drug use and had dropped out of high school. He often clashed with his parents, particularly over financial issues. Despite these challenges, his family and friends did not believe he would disappear without a trace.
Given Aron's pattern of staying away for days at a time, his family did not immediately report him missing. It wasn't until weeks later, when he failed to return or make contact, that his father filed a missing person report with the Norfolk Police Department.
