John William Johnston, born on December 9, 1976, was a 42-year-old resident of Port Orchard, Washington. Known for his distinctive appearance, Johnston had waist-length blond hair, hazel eyes, and a two-foot-long tattoo of the word "LOST" down his spine. He also had tattoos on his left ankle, right leg, and right calf. At the time of his disappearance, he stood 5'6" tall and weighed approximately 155 pounds. Friends and family described him as a private individual who maintained close relationships with those in his inner circle.
On October 15, 2019, Johnston left voice messages for his friends and family. These messages were the last confirmed communications from him. There were no indications of distress or plans to leave, making his subsequent disappearance all the more perplexing. After this date, Johnston ceased all contact, and no further communications were received.
On November 1, 2019, Johnston's vehicle was found abandoned on a Forest Service road near the High Steel Bridge in rural Mason County, Washington. Inside the vehicle were his identification card, wallet, clothing, blankets, video games, and other personal items. Notably, his backpack was missing, and the truck keys were found in the ashtray. The vehicle had been sitting in that location for nearly two weeks before it was impounded.
Johnston was officially reported missing on November 12, 2019. Following the report, a search was conducted in the area where his truck had been found. Despite efforts by search teams, no trace of Johnston was discovered. The lack of evidence or leads has left investigators and family members without answers....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
