On November 11, 1965, 21-year-old Marilyn Joyce Pittwood vanished in Pueblo, Colorado. Standing 5'4" and weighing 125 pounds, Marilyn was last seen wearing green western pants and a black western shirt. She was also known by the alias Marilyn Mitchell. Pittwood Jr. on August 28, 1963, at the Pittwood family home in Pueblo. Her disappearance came just over two years into their marriage, leaving her family and community in shock.
Marilyn's case remains one of Pueblo's oldest unsolved missing person cases. Despite being reported missing on the day of her disappearance, no significant leads have emerged over the decades. Her case was recently added to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) in April 2025, highlighting the ongoing efforts to find answers.
