On the evening of February 13, 2025, 59-year-old Dwane Mitchell Scott left a family member's home near the 900 block of Summit Chase Drive in Reading, Pennsylvania, around 7:00 p.m. He mentioned he was heading to a local bar, a familiar routine for him. However, this seemingly ordinary outing took a mysterious turn when Dwane never returned, and no one has seen or heard from him since. 

Health Concerns Amplify Urgency

Dwane's disappearance is particularly alarming due to his numerous health issues. He suffers from dementia, stage 4 kidney disease, diabetes requiring insulin four times daily, and a history of strokes and seizures. These conditions necessitate regular medication and constant supervision. His family reports that he left without his wallet or phone, raising concerns that he may be disoriented and unable to seek help.

There was a potential sighting of Dwane at Maria's restaurant on Penn Street between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. on the night he vanished. However, this lead has not been confirmed, and no further information has surfaced to indicate his whereabouts.
