A New Chapter in Paradise

In September 2016, 41-year-old Joshua Goodwin relocated from Ashland, Oregon, to the serene landscapes of Hana, Maui, seeking a fresh start with a new job. Known for his adventurous spirit and love for the ocean, Joshua was eager to embrace the island lifestyle. However, just a month into his new life, a planned free diving excursion would mark the beginning of a perplexing mystery that remains unsolved to this day. 

The Day Joshua Disappeared

On October 13, 2016, Joshua was last seen onshore near Mile Marker 41 in Kipahulu, a remote area of East Maui. He intended to swim approximately 200 yards offshore to meet a friend for a free diving session.
