A Night Out Turns Into a Mystery
On the evening of May 22, 2019, Ramondus Jaterun Robinson, affectionately known as "Ray Jay," left his home in Birmingham, Alabama, around 10:00 p.m. He informed his father that he was heading out, and it is believed he visited a nightclub known as "The Money Spot" or "Raw House Studios" located in the 600 block of 9th Street North. Witnesses reported that Robinson may have left the club around 4:00 a.m. on May 23 with two unidentified men. Since that night, Robinson has not been seen or heard from, and his sudden disappearance has left his family and community searching for answers.
A Promising Life Interrupted
At the time of his disappearance, Robinson was 31 years old and had recently started a new job at a debt acquisition and recovery firm in Homewood, Alabama. His commitment to his new position was evident, making his failure to show up for work on May 23 without any notification highly uncharacteristic.
