On the early morning of September 11, 2019, 28-year-old Jose Felix-Venegas vanished under perplexing circumstances in Chicago, Illinois. That evening, Jose and a friend visited a club before relocating to an apartment on the 2600 block of South Hamlin Avenue with two unidentified men. According to his friend, he fell asleep at the apartment, and upon waking, discovered that both Jose and the two men were gone. Jose has not been seen or heard from since that night.
