Debbie LaCaria, a 57-year-old woman originally from Chicago, had settled into a modest life in Jackson, Kentucky. Residing in a home on Highway 3193, also known as Wolverine Road, her living conditions were austere; the residence lacked electricity and running water and had sustained fire damage. Despite these hardships, Debbie maintained a routine, often seen walking her dog around the neighborhood.
The Last Known Contact
On January 10, 2017, Debbie was last seen entering her home after using a neighbor's phone to contact her family. This call marked her final known communication. Notably, she did not own a personal phone, making her reliant on neighbors for such contact. A few days later, a severe storm swept through the area.
