A Day Like Any Other

On the morning of January 24, 2013, Anthony Vinh Nguyen, a 23-year-old man from Louisiana, set out on what was expected to be a routine fishing trip. Accompanied by his friend Thanh Ha, the duo departed from the docks in Venice, Louisiana, around 10:30 a.m. Their vessel was a 25-foot blue and white fiberglass Reno Skiff, equipped with a 255-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine and a blue 20-gallon fuel tank. The Disappearance

As the day progressed, concern grew when neither Nguyen nor Ha returned from their excursion. Efforts to contact them were unsuccessful, and by the following day, it was evident that something had gone terribly wrong.
