The Disappearance of Robert Younger
On September 4, 1995, Robert Younger, a 36-year-old fisherman from Juneau, Alaska, vanished under mysterious circumstances while aboard the fishing vessel F/V Cape Alava. The vessel was operating near Knight Island, Yakutat, when Younger's crewmate reported that he went to sleep and, upon waking, found Younger missing. Despite extensive searches, Younger was never found and is presumed deceased.
