The 2012 Murder of Shawn Mosley Jr.

In the early hours of September 26, 2012, the Louisville community was shaken by the tragic death of 18-year-old Shawn Mosley Jr. He was found murdered at 1002 Cecil Avenue, leaving family and friends devastated. Shawn was an employee at Belcan and a member of New Life Ministries of Christ Church. His untimely death left a void in the lives of those who knew him. Despite investigations, his murder remains unsolved, leaving lingering questions and a family's quest for justice.

The 2022 Murder of Shawn A. Mosley

A decade later, on August 4, 2022, tragedy struck again with the murder of 51-year-old Shawn A. Mosley in Old Louisville. Around 6 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of South 2nd Street.
