A Grim Discovery in South Phoenix
On a somber morning in August 2017, the tranquility of El Prado Park in South Phoenix was shattered by a gruesome discovery. A passerby, while navigating the park's pathways near 19th and Southern Avenues, stumbled upon the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman near the bleachers of a baseball field. The passerby immediately alerted a nearby parks worker, who then contacted the Phoenix Police Department.
