Donald Lee Walters, a 75-year-old resident of Great Bend, Kansas, was known for his gentle demeanor and quiet lifestyle. Standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, he had gray or partially gray hair and blue eyes. Donald was living with Alzheimer's disease, a condition that can cause memory loss and confusion, making individuals vulnerable to getting lost or disoriented. The Day He Disappeared

On July 7, 2020, Donald was last seen in Great Bend. An employee who had regular contact with him reported him missing on the same day, raising immediate concerns due to his medical condition. A Vehicle Found, But No Sign of Donald

A week after his disappearance, on July 14, 2020, Donald's vehicle was discovered near the Okmulgee and McIntosh County line, east of Henryetta, Oklahoma, close to the Eufaula Wildlife Management Area. This location is approximately 200 miles from his home in Kansas, suggesting that he had traveled a significant distance before abandoning his vehicle.
