A Quiet Morning in Oakdale Turns Mysterious

On the morning of September 16, 2017, Terry Wayne Townley, a 51-year-old resident of Oakdale, Louisiana, vanished without a trace. Standing at 6'1" and weighing between 220 to 250 pounds, Terry was known for his graying brown hair and hazel eyes. That day began like any other in the small town, but it would soon become the starting point of a perplexing mystery that remains unsolved to this day.

The Abandoned Explorer: A Clue or a Red Herring?

Later that same day, around 1:00 p.m., Terry's white 1996 Ford Explorer was discovered abandoned on a dead-end road in Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
