A Mother’s Disappearance

On June 27, 1996, 23-year-old Shaquita Yolanda Bell vanished without a trace after leaving her grandmother's home on East Raymond Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. In an effort to gather more evidence, Shields agreed to wear a recording device during a jail visit with Dickerson, hoping to capture a confession. However, on June 6, 1999, the day before the scheduled visit, Shields was murdered. His death remains unsolved, adding another layer of tragedy and complexity to the case. ...Read More
