The Disappearance of an Infant

On January 8, 2025, Mayeen La'Alah Fluker, a Black/African American infant from Canton, Ohio, was last seen with her parents. At the time of her disappearance, Mayeen was between 1'0" and 1'10" tall and weighed approximately 6 pounds. Her case was officially entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System on May 28, 2025, under case number MP144586. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear, with limited information available to the public. 

A Mysterious Journey Across States

Between January 8 and April 17, 2025, Mayeen's parents embarked on multiple cross-country trips by car, traversing through numerous states including Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas. Investigations suggest that Mayeen was present in the vehicles used for these trips, possibly through mid-March; however, her exact whereabouts during this period are uncertain. 

The Parents' Encounter in Kansas

On April 17, 2025, authorities made contact with Mayeen's parents in Kansas. Notably, Mayeen was not with them at the time. Details regarding the circumstances of this encounter and the subsequent actions taken by law enforcement have not been disclosed publicly. 

Vehicles Involved in the Case

The investigation revealed that the vehicles used during the cross-country trips were rented from Enterprise. These included a 2023 Toyota RAV4 and a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. One of the Hyundai Tucsons bore an Ohio license plate numbered KNG2121, while the Toyota RAV4 had a Florida license plate numbered RAWH31. The use of rental vehicles across multiple states adds complexity to the investigation, potentially complicating efforts to trace the family's movements.
