On the morning of December 19, 2019, 64-year-old Laurel Lee Claytor was last seen at her home in Tacoma, Washington. Unlike her previous disappearances, this time she left behind all her identification and personal belongings and has not been heard from since.
Claytor had a history of disappearing, having gone missing on three prior occasions, but was always found safe. In previous instances, she was located in places such as nearby woods, a Walmart in Spanaway, and in Gig Harbor, Washington.
At the time of her disappearance, Claytor did not own a cellular phone or vehicle and usually traveled in the region by bus. She was known to frequent Spanaway Lake Park.
