The Disappearance of Jacob Clark
Jacob Wayne Clark, a 21-year-old resident of Portland, Tennessee, vanished on August 25, 2010. He was last seen by his father at approximately 6:30 AM that morning. Upon returning home later that day, Jacob's father discovered that Jacob was missing. A note left behind by Jacob indicated that he had overslept, missed a court date, and was "already gone."
Circumstances Surrounding the Disappearance
Jacob's family reported that he had been distressed over a prior arrest. Additionally, they discovered that a shotgun and a single shell were missing from the home. He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through.
