A Quiet Life in Chelsea
Elliott Robert Savage Drucker, born in Germany in 1948, immigrated to the United States with his mother in 1952. By the late 2010s, he resided in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Described as a reclusive individual, Drucker was known to use the alias "Robert Savage" and had become increasingly isolated over the years. Despite his solitude, he maintained regular contact with a neighbor, Pamela Wolff, who noted changes in his behavior leading up to his disappearance .
The Disappearance
The last confirmed sighting of Drucker was on December 27, 2017, when he visited Wolff and her husband. Subsequent attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. Concern grew when Drucker failed to pay his February 2018 maintenance fees, prompting Wolff to reach out to his half-sister, Barbara Tartell.
