The Disappearance of Bobby Gross

On January 4, 2009, Bobby Joe Gross, a 47-year-old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, vanished without a trace. He was last seen on Newhart Road in Charlotte, and his disappearance was reported by his brother after he failed to make contact. At the time, Gross was described as a white male, standing 6'1" tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He also had a tattoo on his upper left arm, though details about the tattoo remain unclear.  

Initial Investigation and Challenges

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department took charge of the investigation, assigning case number 20090415-153202. Despite efforts to locate Gross, the case presented significant challenges. There were no signs of foul play at his residence, and no immediate leads emerged.
