A Quiet Day Turns Into a Mystery

On July 27, 2017, 63-year-old Alvin Darrow spent the afternoon at Lost Peninsula Marina in Toledo, Ohio, working on his boat alongside his eldest son, Jeremy. Around 3:30 p.m., Alvin left the marina to retrieve supplies from his home on Majestic Drive, intending to return shortly. A neighbor later reported seeing Alvin arrive home between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m., where he briefly conversed with her before his youngest son, Timothy, approached.
