On August 30, 2001, brothers Edgar Sanchez, 44, and Frank Sanchez, 53, departed from their home in Baldwin, New York, embarking on what was expected to be a routine visit to a friend. They were last seen driving a white 1992 Chevrolet Lumina, heading toward Lizard Racing, a business located on eastern Long Island. Their intended destination was to meet with a friend, Matthew Grillo. However, according to Grillo, the brothers never arrived at their destination.
