On July 21, 2016, the city of Birmingham, Alabama, was shaken by the tragic death of 25-year-old Terrence Kidd. In the early hours of that Thursday morning, a drive-by shooting on Graymont Avenue West claimed his life, leaving the community in mourning and searching for answers.

The Fateful Incident: Details of the Shooting

At approximately 4:00 a.m., Birmingham police received a distressing 911 call from a man who had been shot but managed to escape the scene. Upon arrival at the intersection of 12th Avenue West, near the campus of Birmingham-Southern College, officers discovered a vehicle riddled with bullet holes. Inside, they found Terrence Kidd, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
