Early Life and Family Background
Born on April 11, 1963, in Busan, South Korea, Teresa Lynn Stirling was adopted by Jim and Lyn Stirling, becoming one of their seven children. Between 1961 and 1966, the Stirlings adopted six children, and Lyn gave birth to their youngest son in 1968. In 1965, the family relocated from Placerville to Anchorage, Alaska, settling on Shoshoni Drive, just off DeArmoun Road. Teresa spent her formative years in Anchorage, growing up in a bustling household. The Stirlings cherished family time, often retreating to a cabin they built in the 1980s at Swede Lake, where they created lasting memories together.
Education and Community Involvement
Teresa attended Robert Service High School in Anchorage, graduating with the class of 1981. During her time there, she was known for her warm personality and active participation in various school activities. Her peers remember her as a kind and compassionate individual who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
