On May 7, 2006, at approximately 1:01 PM, the lifeless body of 30-year-old Robert Lee Preston was discovered in a secluded wooded area off Interstate 75 in Sumter County, Florida. The location, hidden from plain sight, suggested a deliberate attempt to conceal the crime.
