Introduction

On the night of January 20, 2020, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic and untimely death of Robert D. Mullen Jr., a 48-year-old resident known for his warm personality and deep ties to the community. The Night of the Incident

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on January 20, 2020, Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2600 block of West Broadway, specifically at Dino's Foodmart. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals inside a vehicle parked in the food mart's parking lot. Robert Mullen was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
