Introduction: A Tragic Event in a Small Town

On May 11, 1992, the small community of Baxter Springs, Kansas, was shaken by the brutal murder of 20-year-old Jennifer Dianne Bryan Judd. A newlywed of just nine days, Jennifer was found stabbed to death in her home, a crime that remains unsolved to this day.

Early Life and Marriage

Jennifer was born on December 27, 1971, in Baxter Springs but spent her life in Picher, Oklahoma, attending high school there. She graduated from Picher High School in 1990 and married her high school sweetheart, Justin Judd, on May 2, 1992.
