A Tragic Discovery

On March 11, 2002, the quiet community of Searcy, Arkansas, was shaken by a heinous crime. At approximately 5:42 P.M., 71-year-old Mrs. Jane Murdaugh was found brutally beaten in her residence at 835 Fairview Road. The discovery was made by her daughter, who found Mrs. Murdaugh lying in the doorway between the kitchen and dining room, suffering from multiple severe head wounds.

Details of the Crime Scene
