In the early hours of January 14, 2013, a tragic event unfolded in Chicago's Austin neighborhood, claiming the life of 28-year-old Gregory Bady. Despite the passage of time, his murder remains unsolved, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and raising concerns about the persistent violence in the city.

The Fateful Incident

Around 4:30 a.m., Gregory Bady found himself at a gas station located at the intersection of Laramie and Jackson in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. An argument ensued between Bady and another individual, escalating rapidly and culminating in gunfire. Bady was shot multiple times during this confrontation. Determined to seek help, he attempted to drive himself to a hospital but was discovered unresponsive in a minivan near Kostner Avenue on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway.
