Joshua Kellum, a 33-year-old man from Shelbyville, TX, tragically died on January 19, 2016, from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at a residence on FM 417 West in Center, TX, following a 911 call reporting a shooting. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Kellum critically injured and later pronounced dead at Nacogdoches Medical Center - Center Emergency Room.
The investigation revealed that Kellum's sister, Jennifer Johnson, was involved in the altercation that led to his death.
