A Promising Young Life Cut Short

On the night of September 30, 2024, the Park Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic death of 18-year-old Durelle Garfield Moxley Jr. Born on May 26, 2006, Durelle was a vibrant young man known for his love of music, football, and his close-knit family and friends. He attended Waggener High School, where he was recognized for his spirited personality and dedication to those he cared about.

The Fateful Evening

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on that Monday, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of Bolling Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Durelle outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
