His vibrant personality and infectious joy left an indelible mark on those who knew him. The Tragic Discovery
On the morning of April 14, 1980, concern grew when Daniel failed to report to work—a deviation from his reliable nature. A conscientious coworker, troubled by this uncharacteristic absence, reached out to the San Diego Police Department.
