A Life Remembered: Who Was Clemente Curiel?

Clemente D. Curiel was born on December 22, 1927, and resided in San Lorenzo, California. As a loving father to Luis Curiel of Arizona and Maria Guadalupe Curiel of San Lorenzo, and a dear brother to Guadalupe D. Curiel, Lorenzo D. Curiel, Aurea Curiel Ramos, Luisa Curiel Castaneda, and Evarista C., Clemente was cherished by his family and community. His life spanned 84 years, during which he built strong familial bonds and contributed positively to those around him.

The Tragic Incident: A Brutal Attack in East Oakland

On July 10, 2012, tragedy struck when Clemente Curiel was fatally beaten in East Oakland. The assault occurred in a neighborhood that had experienced its share of violence, but the brutal attack on an 84-year-old man shocked the community.
