Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Lande was a 21-year-old student at Philadelphia Community College when she disappeared on December 12, 1971. Despite extensive investigations, her body has never been found, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance continue to raise questions.
The Night of Disappearance
On the evening of December 11, 1971, with her parents away on a cruise, Liz spent time at her home in the Overbrook Park neighborhood of Philadelphia with two female friends. Around midnight, she received a call from her boyfriend, Robert Thomas "Bobby" Nauss Jr., who invited her to spend the weekend with him.
