The Day She Disappeared
On September 22, 2023, Bailey Blunt set out to retrieve her belongings from the residence of her ex-boyfriend, Tyler Thomas Burrow, located on Berg Road off State Route 299 in Humboldt County. At 4:38 p.m., she sent a distressing text message to a friend, stating that Burrow was intoxicated and had threatened her with a firearm. This was the last known communication from Bailey. Later that evening, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., Burrow was seen driving Bailey's green 1997 Dodge Ram pickup truck, accompanied by her dog, Hank. He parked the truck at a friend's residence, where it remained for approximately 36 hours before he departed with the vehicle and the dog. On September 24, the truck was detected by an automatic license plate reader in Redding, California, and later that morning in Medford, Oregon. Weeks afterward, Burrow was spotted in Trail, Oregon, still in possession of Bailey's truck, which had been spray-painted black. Despite these sightings, there was no trace of Bailey. On November 14, Burrow was arrested at a remote forest camp in Jackson County, Oregon, on an unrelated aggravated assault warrant. He had the truck and Hank with him but did not provide any information regarding Bailey's whereabouts. Since then, there have been no further developments in locating Bailey. ...Read More
