A Case That Began as a Disappearance
Tiffini Murphy was 38 years old when she was last publicly listed as missing from Lacon, Illinois, on September 1, 2018. Early missing-person summaries described her as last seen in the early morning hours at the old Casey’s General Store in Lacon, after reportedly being dropped off there at approximately 4:00 a.m. From that point forward, the public-facing missing-person record carried the same haunting absence: no confirmed contact, no active phone trail, no social media activity, and no bank-account activity after the date she vanished.
The Importance of a Small-Town Last Known Location
Lacon is not the kind of place where a disappearance can easily be swallowed by city noise. The reported last-known location, a Casey’s General Store, gave the case a specific anchor point, but the later delay in reporting Tiffini missing created an investigative problem that would matter deeply. He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
