In the fall of 2023, 32-year-old photographer and social worker, Chelsea Grimm, embarked on a cross-country journey from San Diego, California, to Connecticut. What began as an adventurous trip to attend a friend's wedding and visit family soon turned into a perplexing mystery that has left her loved ones and investigators searching for answers.

Background

Born on March 22, 1991, in Stamford, Connecticut, to parents Stephen and Janet Grimm, Chelsea demonstrated a passion for helping others and the arts from a young age. She pursued psychology at Pace University in New York City and later earned a Master's degree in Social Work from New York University in 2019. Chelsea worked as a 12th-grade social worker for the NYC Department of Education before relocating to Ocean Beach, a coastal neighborhood in San Diego, California, in 2020.
