Introduction to the Case

On March 3, 1979, the serene community of Hawaii Kai in Honolulu was shaken by the unexplained disappearance of 19-year-old Gary Ota. An art student at the University of Hawaii and part-time employee at the Outrigger Hotel in Waikiki, Gary's sudden vanishing left his family and friends in a state of anguish and uncertainty.
