An art student at the University of Hawaii and part-time employee at the Outrigger Hotel in Waikiki, Gary's sudden vanishing left his family and friends in a state of anguish and uncertainty.

Gary was last observed at approximately 5:30 p.m. on that fateful day, seated in his blue two-door 1976 Honda Accord, bearing the Hawaii license plate number 8B-1844, parked in the driveway of his residence.
