Background and Disappearance

In early 2017, 54-year-old Mishelle Renee Calvert, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, traveled to Rock Hill, South Carolina, to stay at her son Joshua Goodman's home on Bonnybrook Circle. Goodman had been incarcerated since April 9, 2017, on attempted murder charges, and Calvert was reportedly house-sitting during his absence. She was last seen on May 8, 2017, the day she was scheduled to return to Florida. However, she never arrived, and attempts to contact her via cell phone were unsuccessful. Authorities believe she was en route to Miami at the time of her disappearance.

Discovery of Calvert's Vehicle

On May 30, 2017, Calvert's Ford Five Hundred sedan, bearing Florida license plate 4099GA, was located at an unoccupied apartment complex on Sharon Pointe Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. The vehicle's presence in Charlotte, approximately 25 miles from Rock Hill, raised further questions, as there was no known connection between Calvert and the location where her car was found.
