On the evening of May 3, 2024, 34-year-old Justin Scott Gasper was last seen leaving his residence on Shivers Lane in Liberty, South Carolina, around 10 p.m. He departed on foot, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and dark-colored shoes. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall, with red hair and blue eyes, Justin's sudden disappearance left his family and the community deeply concerned. The Grim Discovery
Two months later, on July 6, 2024, individuals operating land grading equipment in a heavily wooded area near Shivers Lane stumbled upon human remains. The location was in close proximity to Justin's home, raising immediate suspicions. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, and while the remains appeared to be those of an adult male, official identification was pending further investigation.
