A Troubled Life in Gresham
Jaime Henry Doering Jr., known to friends and family as "Junior," was last seen in Gresham, Oregon, in the summer of 2017. Born in 1990, Jaime had a history of substance abuse, particularly with heroin and methamphetamine, dating back to his early teens. These struggles led to aggressive behavior, resulting in both his parents obtaining restraining orders against him. Despite these challenges, Jaime maintained intermittent contact with his family, especially his mother, who eventually lifted her restraining order in hopes of reconciliation.
The Last Known Movements
In July 2017, Jaime visited his mother's home, expressing feelings of abandonment. On July 17, he was arrested for trespassing and violating a restraining order. Later that summer, he was seen leaving the Coda Gresham Recovery Center, a facility aimed at helping individuals with substance abuse issues.
