A Quiet Evening Turns Mysterious
On May 13, 2018, 25-year-old Joseph "Joey" William Ross vanished under perplexing circumstances in Columbus, Indiana. That evening, between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m., Ross was last seen at a friend's residence on South Amherst Place in the Amberley Addition neighborhood. Witnesses reported that he left the house on foot, heading into the nearby woods, carrying a shotgun but without his phone or any money.
A Troubled Mind and Unanswered Questions
Prior to his disappearance, Ross had been involved in a domestic dispute with his fiancée in Brownstown. Following the incident, a friend brought him to Columbus to cool off.
