On May 8, 1993, Tony Atkerson Myers, a 45-year-old resident of Ketchikan, Alaska, embarked on a routine skiff trip with his companion, 37-year-old Daniel Schalles. Their journey took them to the east end of Gravina Island, a location known for its rugged beauty and unpredictable waters. What began as an ordinary outing soon turned into a harrowing mystery that has remained unsolved for over three decades.

The Disappearance

That day, Myers and Schalles were reported missing after their skiff was found adrift near Gravina Island.
