A Routine Voyage Turns Tragic
On September 8, 1992, 29-year-old Jeffrey Anderson embarked on what was expected to be a routine fishing trip aboard the vessel Mary May in Sitka Sound near Biorka Island, Alaska. Known for its rich fishing grounds and scenic beauty, the area is also notorious for unpredictable weather and treacherous waters. Tragically, Jeffrey never returned from this voyage and is presumed to have drowned in a boating accident .
The Search and Presumption
Following his disappearance, search efforts were initiated by local authorities, including the Sitka Police Department. Despite extensive searches, no trace of Jeffrey or the Mary May was found.
