The Night That Changed Everything

In the early hours of April 7, 2015, Aaron Levar Lane, a 36-year-old tugboat worker from Osceola, Arkansas, vanished into the Mississippi River. At approximately 1:30 a.m., while working near San Sioux Landing, Lane fell overboard between two tugboats. A witness, Jazmine Stewart, who was on the boat with him, immediately called 911 to report the incident. Despite prompt search efforts, Lane was never found. 

A Dedicated Worker and Beloved Community Member

Aaron Lane was known for his friendly demeanor and active participation in community events. Employed by Mid River Terminal, he served as a deckhand on boats navigating the Mississippi River. His sudden disappearance sent shockwaves through his family and the Osceola community, who remembered him as a devoted worker and cherished friend.
